I take the boat out about 1 to 2 times a week, usually on week days. This is dependent on the marine forecast. If you are here and see me hooking up the boat just walk up and ask. If I have an open spot on the boat it's first come first serve. If you want a guaranteed trip, I suggest that you reserve a charter boat at the links below. If you have a 7 night reservation, I will try to reserve a first come spot for you on my boat. Note: Due to weight limits of the boat, for a safe comfortable ride and due to limited space, a maximum of 1 adults weighing 250 pounds or less each or 1 adult and 1 child with a combined weight of not more than 350 pounds will be allowed on the boat. This is a friends sharing expenses trip, not a charter. Should you not be able to get on the boat, there are no refunds or discounts on lodging. No purchase is necessary. Should you be a diehard fisherman like me and want to trade trips in your area on your boat for trips on mine, lets talk. If you get on the boat, you will be asked to buy 1/2 the gas and the bait in advance. If you do not have your own rods and tackle, you will be asked to post a security deposit or credit card to pay for any tackle you loose. For your information, A salmon or rock cod trip uses about $70 to $100 in gas and bait. A tuna trip costs about $250 in gas. If you drop a rod over board, depending on the rod it could cost between $50 and $1,000. If you can't afford to replace an expensive rod, don't use it, ask in advance! Click on logo above Salmon opener is April 02, 2005. We caught limits until the end of April last year. The Salmon were 10 to 45 pounds. Rock Cod was closed by emergency closure. Rock cod now opens July 1, 2005. This is to bad because we have ran into many large schools of black/Blue cod and Olives as well. There are so many mid water cod that we have had trouble getting to the bottom to catch legal fish. We have also run into so many Ling Cod when fishing on sand for Halibut that it has made fishing more of a feeding for fish that we are not allowed to keep rather than catching fish that are legal to keep. Tuna usually starts to run around mid July and is best in Sept, We are currently experiencing early bait and temps in the off shore water. We hope that, Tuna fishing may start as early as June this year.
